Head of Ikorodu sub-office
In her role as Head of Unit, Barrister Salako oversees the daily operations of the office and handles a wide range of matters, including custody and access disputes, divorce matters, police-related issues, and various mediation processes. She is particularly known for her balanced, calm, and humane approach to resolving conflicts. In cases involving children, she is guided by the principle that the best interest of the child is paramount, which consistently shapes her professional judgment and interventions.
A graduate of Lagos State University (LASU) with an LL.B., Barrister Salako was called to the Nigerian Bar as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. Her extensive experience within the Ministry of Justice has exposed her to diverse areas of law, and she has developed strong expertise in mediation, child rights, domestic violence matters, criminal justice, civil matters, and public-interest advocacy.
Deeply committed to the mandate of the Bureau of Public Defender, she continues to uphold the values of fairness, empathy, service, and accountability. Through her leadership at the Ikorodu office, Barrister Salako has contributed meaningfully to strengthening public trust in the justice system and supporting some of the most vulnerable individuals and families in the community.
