Barrister Modupe Salako is a dedicated legal practitioner with over 15 years of professional experience, and she currently serves as the Head of Unit at the Bureau of Public Defender (BPD), Ikorodu Office, Lagos State Ministry of Justice. Throughout her career, she has built a strong and consistent record of service, ensuring that the people of Ikorodu and surrounding communities have access to fair, timely, and meaningful justice.

In her role as Head of Unit, Barrister Salako oversees the daily operations of the office and handles a wide range of matters, including custody and access disputes, divorce matters, police-related issues, and various mediation processes. She is particularly known for her balanced, calm, and humane approach to resolving conflicts. In cases involving children, she is guided by the principle that the best interest of the child is paramount, which consistently shapes her professional judgment and interventions.

A graduate of Lagos State University (LASU) with an LL.B., Barrister Salako was called to the Nigerian Bar as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. Her extensive experience within the Ministry of Justice has exposed her to diverse areas of law, and she has developed strong expertise in mediation, child rights, domestic violence matters, criminal justice, civil matters, and public-interest advocacy.
