The global Orange the World Day 2025

The Office of the Public Defender(OPD) today joined other stakeholders in the world to commemorate "the global Orange the World" campaign, which is part of the annual 16 days of activities against Gender - Based Violence. The campaign 2025 theme is to end digital violence against the women and girls.
The event which was held on Friday 5th December 2025 OPD features the sensitization campaigns at some public secondary schools in the State.

The enlightenment campaigns were held simultaneously at 2 Junior and 2 Senior Secondary schools in the State. The campaign for Lagos Mainland Area was held at the Stadium Junior and Senior secondary schools in Surulere, while sensitization campaign for Lagos Island/ Epe took place at Badore community junior and Senior secondary schools at Badore, Ajah.
